School is hard on kids and teachers, but it doesn’t have to be!

Going through middle and senior years is a tough time for many students. With all the changes and challenges kids face, combined with peer pressure and what media suggests they should be, it is hard for a child to know how they are uniquely made and gifted or what kind of career path would be a good fit for them.

From a teacher perspective, it is hard to navigate the curriculum and manage the class when you have 20-30 students with varying needs, learning styles, and personalities. Wouldn’t it be great if each student came with a manual?

As I pursued my leadership training and certification in behavioral analysis, I was left with one pressing question:

“How much easier would life have been if I was taught this in school all those years ago?”

How can we work together for change?

There is so much more we can do to help our youth navigate the challenges of self-discovery and forming a healthy self-esteem that guides them to a career and future that fits them. Through my partnership with the John Maxwell Team and my certification in DISC, I offer training programs specifically for schools, both for the students and teachers.
